The Roof, The Roof, The Roof is on Fire.
In the immortal words of Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three

Well it sounded good till someone got hurt anyway…
Fitchburg Fire Fighter Phil Jordan Jr. fell through the roof fighting a 5 alarm fire at Swagger Nightclub today and was transported to UMass Medical.
Phil is OK. CAT scan showed no broken bones and no internal injuries, just very sore.
I hope he made it home tonight.

This building and I have a long history.
I started as a cocktail waitress at CR Goody’s
and ended up
Owner and CEO of The Compound.
I don’t know what caused the old Compound building to catch on fire.
Whatever happened it makes me sad to see anyone get hurt
and the building go up in flames.

Fitchburg Fire Fighters were so quick and well trained that you can not even tell from the outside appearances that there was a fire…
Fitchburg Fire fighters rock. They did an awesome job yesterday for sure. The building is made of solid concrete so it will not show outside damage. They got the fire out with limited damage to the building.
That does seem very strange, first they move things out and then a fire. If it was not an accident, I do hope they get caught. I am glad the fire fighter is continues to to get better. It is a sad day when the all mighty dollar is more important than someones health or life.
Oh I found out about that in while ago. so Luckly, it not ruined their building since it wont damage into the building. Thats good thing that Phil is alright now. I am glad they work hard on it.
WOW! The Compound, fire? I’m glad no one was seriously injured. It must have been hard though to think of your ‘Pound on fire even if it’s technically not yours any more it’s still the place I think of you and all our fun times!
